With a chance to take the top spot on the table, however briefly, Liverpool face Everton in the Merseyside Derby. This will be the first meeting of Brendan Rodgers and Roberto Martinez, both former Swansea head men,  in their current managerial positions.

The Reds are battling injury concerns coming into the fixture, with Jose Enrique confirmed out due to a knee injury and Daniel Sturridge a doubt as he struggles with a dead leg. Coming off the international break, Liverpool also face fitness concerns over Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez.

Gerrard is the current leading goal scorer in the Derby with eight, while Suarez sits second with three. Suarez and Sturridge with eight goals apiece stand as joint top goal scorers in the league this season alongside Sergio Aguero. Romelu Lukaku has five in the league as well.
