It’s pre-season at Anfield, which means plenty of transfer gossip, new signings, sweat, blood, tears and most importantly a new kit for fans to splash their cash on. The club unveiled their new third kit yesterday, a cheeky red and black number that is sure to be popular with the style conscious fans. Former player, Luis Garcia, was one of the first to comment on the kits use of colours to create something that is not only practical but fashionable to boot.
“I love the way this shirt looks,” Garcia commented on the clubs official website. “The red collar on the black shirt gives it a very stylish look and as always, Warrior has incorporated the best material and details to keep players comfortable whilst playing.”
Local lad, Steven Gerrard for one looks sharp while Phillipe Coutinho and his pouting lips look like they belong on some European catwalk. As smart as it I have to say I wouldn’t give a shit if their strip was poo brown with pink spots as long as the boys do the business on the park.
But then again if Warrior ever try and make us wear this I recon it will be enough to turn me blue. But then again God please forgive me for even contemplating such a ridiculous thought.
