The end of the summer transfer window is fast approaching but despite numerous comings and goings already at Anfield it seems there is still business to be done.
Brendan Rodgers has been on a mission to make his squad Champions League ready by clearing out deadwood and by bringing in more strength in depth with the likes of Mario Balotelli, Alberto Moreno and Lazar Markovic all arriving for hefty transfer fees.
But with just a day to go before the transfer window shuts it seems there could be more wheeling and dealing to come.
“There’ll probably be more movement out than coming in,” said the reds Gaffer.
“We’ve still got offers for players to go. Every player here knows their situation, so if they’re here after that deadline on Monday then they’ve decided to stay but their game time will be very limited.
“At this moment in time, there are not many more to come in, if any.”
Liverpool are still being linked with a loan move former Arsenal player Alex Song after he was told he could leave current club Barcelona while the future of reds centre back, Daniel Agger, is still uncertain with a move to his former club Brondby look like a possibility.
