Who was the best, who was the worst for Liverpool in 2015-16? As well as all the in-between, see where the players stacked up against each other.

Liverpool had a roller coaster year in general and the proved true for most of their players.

It started poorly under Brendan Rodgers before the manager was dismissed and Jurgen Klopp was appointed, that’s when the club and its employees all began to improve their performances.

Injuries hit Liverpool hard and not many, if any, stayed injury free amid a fixture congestion from December through the end of the season as they went on runs in the League Cup and Europa League, both painfully losing in the final.

Either trophy could have helped salvage the season, definitely the Europa League and the Champions League qualification that would have come with it, but it wasn’t to be and all that was gained was just an 8th place finish in the Premier League, so on the surface it was an awful season.

But it was an important season of change, a transition from Rodgers to Klopp and the team is primed for a great 2016-17. Let’s continue to put 2015-16 to bed with the complete squad rankings: who was the best, who was the worst and where’d the pieces fall in-between?
