Simon Mignolet – 8

The Belgian was assured and calm after coming out during the week saying Loris Karius won’t be getting his spot back any time soon.

While Manchester City did little to test Mignolet, he did what he needed to when called upon.

His distribution was notably impressive and he helped recycle Liverpool in possession.

It seems that Simon has staked his claim between the posts and it may be a while before Loris Karius returns to his starting spot.
