Georginio Wijnaldum

This might appear to be an odd one but Georginio Wijnaldum will find his place under massive threat after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain broke off the shackles to score three goals in two games.

Wijnaldum has played all 10 Premier League games this season but he’s the most likely to drop out of that midfield three if Klopp wants to bring the Ox into the mix for November. Naby Keita will also be pushing for a place, if his latest injury isn’t too serious.

Gini offers control and a man who is willing to carry out the manager’s instructions to the letter, but at Liverpool he lacks the cutting edge to provide something different from midfield. Wijnaldum is actually a good finisher with foot and head, but Reds have rarely seen that from the Dutchman.

After being rested against Arsenal, there’s a good chance he’ll be brought back into the side to face Villa on Saturday. That gives him the chance to reclaim his spot. Gini better not waste it.
