Liverpool player ratings vs West Ham: Thiago the genius, Origi hapless
Centre-forward: Divock Origi – 5
It genuinely puzzles me how he still plays football for Liverpool in 2021. He lacked threat in any capacity, looked hapless when pressing, and just looked lost in all situations.
The Belgian is consistently getting selected above Takumi Minamino and it is becoming more and more frustrating for the onlooking Reds.
Centre-forward: Mo Salah – 9
Genius. Brilliance. What else can you say?
Two delightful finishes from Mo Salah, especially the second which required some outstanding control, allowed the Reds to control the game in the second half.
He was simply marvelous. Man of the Match.

Curtis Jones – 7
The Scouser came on and had an immediate impact, setting up Mo Salah’s opener.
Roberto Firmino – 7.5
Another level. Talking of being involved in goals, Firmino replaced Shaqiri and was at the beating heart of Liverpool’s frontline. Set up Wijnaldum’s goal.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 6.5
He didn’t make much of an impact in the entirety of the game, but played a role with a backheel to set Firmino away for Wijnaldum’s effort.
