Liverpool Predicted XI vs Southampton, can the Reds keep top spot?

Liverpool are top of the league, but can Southampton change that? One things for sure – Jurgen Klopp’s team can’t slow down. In November, nobody gets anything for being top by one point.

It’s encouraging to see, but we need to keep fighting in order to win matches. Every point is essential now.

The second we stop playing with the intensity that’s winning us games, we’ll start to drop points. We already have a leaky defence, but going forward we’ve been too much for teams to handle. That needs to persist in the coming weeks, or these ‘smaller’ teams will capitalise on any loss of focus.

My advice would be to forget about the title challenge right now. A top four spot is the main benchmark for success this season – at least until the league has properly taken shape.

The Reds need to take each game as it comes, so considering that, here’s the starting XI I think they should field against Southampton.
