Jordan Henderson: The Hendo rating is the one that really infuriated most Liverpool fans last season. Our future captain was rated just 78. EA soon realised their mistake and pushed him up to…..79?! But after his best season, individually, in a Liverpool shirt, EA should rectify their mistake this time around. On Ultimate Team, he got an 84 Team of the season card, which is a good sign he’ll be increased.

Prediction: 82

James Milner: Whether Milner will be a Right-mid or Centre-mid on FIFA is anyone’s guess given their dodgy positioning’s. However they really should make him a CM so he’ll be on this slide. Milner was given a lowly 78 last season but he should improve after his great performances in pre-season for us. Though admittedly this won’t be by much. No matter how great we may think he is, EA probably won’t agree.

Prediction: 80

Emre Can: Another source of frustration towards EA last season, Can was rated 73 at the end of FIFA 15 despite a great season for the young German. His position was also moved to CB which was understandable but hopefully he starts off as a CM this year. If Can is rated any lower than 75 on FIFA 16, I will personally lead the anti-EA protests.

Prediction: 75

Lucas Leiva: Lucas was given a 78 rating last season, which to be honest is about right. Lucas had a pretty forgettable season in 14/15 and probably hasn’t done much to merit a bump up in rating. Therefore he’ll probably stay around the same.

Prediction: 78

Joe Allen: Allen got a 77 rating last season, again this is pretty fair. He didn’t really do too much last season, but at the same time wasn’t poor enough to have his rating dropped. Expect him to be around the same rating as last year.

Prediction: 77
