Predicting Liverpool’s FIFA 16 Rankings

Strikers
NB: Believe it or not, we have a lot of strikers. I won’t be predicting Lambert and Borini’s ratings here because in all likelihood they’ll be gone long before FIFA 16 hits the shelves. I will be predicting Balotelli after Brendan Rodgers’ recent comments.
Christian Benteke: The big Belgian was given an 80 rating last season. After his blistering end to the season where he scored 11 goals in 10 games, he really should see an increase on that. He has an 82 in form card on Ultimate Team which is a good sign. In any case he will definitely go up.
Prediction: 82
Daniel Sturridge: Liverpool’s forgotten man, Sturridge had just 8 appearances last season after what was a disastrous campaign for his career, and probably his body too. When he was fit, he was still very good even without complete match fitness. Like I’ve said before, EA tend to be a little harsh on injured players. Expect his rating to go down.
Prediction: 82
Danny Ings: Given a lowly 71 last season, Ings will no doubt massively improve. For you Ultimate Team players out there, you should get a gold card Ings in this one. His breakout season in the top flight and big move means he should go above 75.
Prediction: 76
Divock Origi: A terrible season in France where he was named in the ‘Worst team of the season’ means Origi might see a decrease in his 75 rating. However, his end to the season where he grabbed 5 goals and 2 assists in 9 games, might mean an increase in rating. I’m going positive on this one.
Prediction: 76
Mario Balotelli: Let’s not go into how poor Balotelli was last season, it’s well known. So EA really should drop his 82 rating. However, the feeling that he has still has some talent -and EA’s history of absolutely refusing to harshly drop Fernando Torres- means that he shouldn’t go too far below 80, if at all.
Prediction: 79
