James Milner: 80
There can’t really be too many complaints about Milner’s rating, it seems about right. The complaints Liverpool fans will have is that he is our highest rated centre mid. Is it possible that Jordan Henderson hasn’t even reached an 80 rating yet?

Jordan Henderson: 79
This is probably the harshest rating in the squad. Henderson had an outstanding season last year, earning himself the captaincy and finding himself on the cover of the game. Yet he hasn’t been upgraded in the actual game. He was given a mid-season increase from 78 to 79, but hasn’t been upgraded on that this year. At the very least he deserves an 80 no?

Lucas Leiva: 79
This will help put the Henderson rating into a perspective a little bit. Lucas barely featured for the Reds last year and when he did he didn’t exactly stamp his claim to a starting spot. He has managed to keep his rating which is perhaps a little generous.

Joe Allen: 77
Allen stays the same on 77, another fair rating. Allen didn’t do too much right last season but did have a few good performances. He is a steady player and it’ll take a really strong season from him to get an upgrade.

Emre Can: 75
One of the harsher ratings, but at least he’s a centre-mid now and not a centre back. Can probably deserves a little bit better, maybe a 77 or at least 76. At least he gets an Ultimate Team gold card right?
