Lallana played well against Arsenal, wasn’t involved in many chances but still did great work rate and link play. He deserved his spot on the pitch tonight and backed that notion with his play.
The last time Benteke was dropped and reporters asked why he was dropped, Klopp insisted it wasn’t Benteke being left out, it was Lallana being included.
Liverpool’s no. 20 will look to turn his play into goals and assists moving forward, especially without Philippe Coutinho.
