Liverpool predicted XI vs Manchester United

GK Danny Ward
Have I ever seen Danny Ward play? In short, no.
BUT I CAN’T TAKE WATCHING ANOTHER CORNER KICK TO GO IN EITHER DIRECT OR WITH A SLIGHT TOUCH. I JUST CAN’T.
I’ll just be optimistic and trust that Liverpool can’t possibly employ three keepers who have no idea what to do when a corner floats in. The law of averages states that it’s not possible.
Liverpool should just put seven field players on the bench. F–k it. Why not. Stick Jose Enrique as the auxiliary back up keeper (or Kolo Toure? Now that’d be fantastic.) and hope Ward doesn’t get injured.
When Ward was recalled from Aberdeen, those who actually did watch him had nothing but great things to say. It wasn’t the standard “thanks for your time and efforts, good luck.” It was “we’re gutted that we’re losing Ward, Liverpool are getting a good keeper back.”
I had been behind Simon Mignolet for a while, refusing the #hottakes of screaming for his exit after one mistake. But, one became two, became three, became he couldn’t kick the ball anymore. Is it possible that his abilities have eroded a bit since day one at Liverpool? When he saved a penalty kick against Stoke City at the end of the game? That moment, that moment right there, he peaked. It has been all downhill since then.
