(GK) Simon Mignolet – 6
There isn’t much to say when Exeter only had one shot on target. Simon Mignolet, fresh from his contract extension, looked set to have an easy night against the football league 2 side – and he did. I mean, you know Mignolet had it easy when a corner was taken and we kept a clean sheet.
Mignolet earns himself a 6 because without much to do, it would have been harder to let a goal in than keep a clean sheet. I have every faith Mignolet will start to improve after being shown faith by Jurgen Klopp, and I strongly hope he does enough to win back the fans – however hard that may be.
