And so did Steven Gerrard…

The man left a legacy at our club- a true legend. He didn’t get the sendoff he deserved in terms of results, but Anfield was in full voice in his final home game vs Crystal Palace back in May. After 17 years playing for the first team at Anfield, a total of 25 years at the club, he won 2 FA Cups, 3 League Cups, 1 Champions League, 1 Uefa Cup, and 2 European Super Cup. His time at Liverpool was truly remarkable, and he’s forever written himself into the Liverpool history books.

So it’s been a lengthy spell for Jon Flanagan out injured- but he’s got a fresh start on the horizon under Jurgen Klopp- and all Liverpool fans will be hoping he can pick up where he left off in the team. Welcome back Flano!
