‘Deflate-gate’

The New England Patriots and their star Quarterback Tom Brady were accused of tampering with the air pressure in their footballs to gain an advantage in their 2015 AFC Championship game vs Indianapolis, clear winners 45-7.

The Patriots won the Super Bowl against Seattle, a Super Bowl possibly best remembered for Seattle Quarterback Russell Wilson throwing an interception with just seconds to go in the game, handing the game to the Patriots, it has since been branded ‘one of the worst play calls in Super Bowl history’.

Brady was banned for 4 games by the league for his role in ‘Deflate-Gate’, but his appeal was successful and he got away with it.
