Roberto Firmino – 8.5 Man of the Match

Roberto Firmino has taken a liking to silencing his haters recently, following up his world class performance against Arsenal with an impressive contribution against Norwich. He defied the flow of play, and bagged the opening goal in this match with a scruffy shot, but one that paid off.

Firmino also started and finished his second goal, flicking the ball to Lallana and knocking the ball home when he received it back. The skilful Brazilian could even be award the assist for Henderson’s goal, as it looks like he managed to get a touch before it fell to the captain.

Firmino can still improve, and that is what makes him exciting. There’s just a high chance he’ll go on an ineffective run now, which is a scary thing.
