Lucas Leiva – 4.5
Lucas was the main culprit for allowing Naismith to run wild, as the Brazilian failed to deal with the former Everton man. Despite making several decent tackles, some blocks, and winning the odd header, Lucas did far from enough to protect the back four.
Personally, I just think the poor fella was scared to death after Naismith almost broke his ankle during the first half. He was lucky to come out of that one unscathed, but he was more-or-less ineffective throughout the game.
