Simon Mignolet – 6.5

Simon Mignolet did pretty well in this game, keeping a clean sheet but not having many chances to deal with. Despite his frequent vulnerability, teams don’t really seem to challenge Mignolet, probably because he’s more prone to set piece errors than failing to stop a shot.

On one of the corners Liverpool had to defend, Mignolet came out to try and punch the ball away, but missed and failed, allowing West Ham a chance that could of ended much worse.

It’s too soon to say that Simon Mignolet is back to being somewhat reliable, but he sure looks better than several weeks ago.
