Brad Smith – 5

I was disappointed with Brad Smith, who messed up a very good chance to earn himself a first team place thanks to Alberto Moreno’s recent underwhelming performances. Smith is usually incredible at bursting down the wing and creating chances, but every time that he moved forward this game his final pass was shocking.

He even tried a shot from outside the box, which the poor people in row Z appreciated purely for the fact it was the closest they’d gotten to the ball. He didn’t cause the team to concede, and his defending was enough to prevent West Ham from having to many attacks. His pace was also crucial to stopping West Ham from scoring on the break, but the rest of Smith’s game was average at best.
