Nathaniel Clyne – 6.5

Nathaniel Clyne doesn’t tend to ever really play badly. In this game, he stayed deep to prevent any West Ham counters, meaning his offensive influence was lost. Clyne dealt with his opposition well, jockeying them and putting a foot in at the perfect moment to nab the ball.

Clyne is proving to be a great buy for Liverpool, adding pace and great tackling abilities, alongside his incredible forward thinking. I’m more than happy that we managed to sign this English right back, and he put in another good performance to help toward the clean sheet in this game.
