Cameron Brannagan – 7.5

Easily the man of the first half, Brannagan was incredibly impressive. A play that I haven’t been overly impressed by watching his previous appearances, I thought rather little of the young centre-mid -but all that changed from this game. Brannagan’s passing helped create most of Liverpool’s chances, and his free kick which almost created the goal for Benteke was beautiful.

If Brannagan can keep up that level of passing, and have as much involvement in future games as he did today, Brannagan could become a real success.
