Jamie Vardy carries Leicester to yet another victory as Liverpool lose by two goals
Leicester City continue their outstanding season with a win against Liverpool, as Jamie Vardy’s double shatters the the reds hopes of a top-4 finish. Liverpool looked to have a reasonable foothold in the game, having 64% of the possession but just failing to create chances – and ultimately score goals.
Liverpool are now in 8th place, 11 points behind a top four spot. The reds need to set their sights on sealing the Capital One Cup, and pressing on in the FA Cup, as these seem to be the best chances the reds have of getting silverware this season.
Another priority should be the Europa League, which if won would see Liverpool in next years Champions League – the main goal for many Liverpool fans. This game against Leicester highlights the various errors in the current side, being a weak midfield, flawed goalkeeper, flimsy defence, and a lack of goals upfront.
Coming off the back of a rather dull transfer window, and the crazy increase in ticket prices, Liverpool fans are right to be disappointed with their sides performance in this game. The team didn’t play too badly, however mistakes were capitalised on and the reds struggled to create enough opportunities to wriggle back into the game. This is not what you want for your £77 ticket price.

Got to be honest if those 3 points mean Leicester win the title I will accept that because we are not going to do it so good luck to them 🤔

So many people blaming the squad. Nobody can tell me the Leicester squad is better than Liverpools.

Not honestly anyway.
Never thought supporting Liverpool would mean supporting a mid table team
