Liverpool player ratings: 2-2 Sunderland
By Ethan Lowe
Roberto Firmino – 7.5 Man of the Match
Roberto Firmino looks to have really settled in at Liverpool now, with a very impressive performance and another goal to his name. Firmino scored the first of Liverpool’s goals, and provided an assist for the second, acting as the most creative player on the pitch in my opinion. He moved well, which Liverpool lacked, and wasn’t afraid to test the keeper with some close long range efforts. Really starting to look like a comfortable and key figure on the field now.
Substitutes –
Jordan Ibe – 5.5
Came on late, and was beating players rather easily, but his lack of defence and poor tackles let Sunderland apply pressure.
Lucas – N/A
Came on in the last few minutes, could argue he didn’t provide enough cover.
