The fantastically creative users of the internet have made some awesome Liverpool Valentine’s Day cards.

With Valentine’s Day coming in hot, Reddit user ishanwelde has created some amazing Liverpool themed Valentine’s Day cards.

Romantically, Liverpool have a match against bottom Aston Villa on that day, lending the potential to ruin the day for those who have no true loves other than Liverpool Football Club. Speaking from experience, this endeavor is particularly grim.

If you haven’t got a Valentine but have your eye fixed on a man or woman who’ll at least understand the essence of the jokes, hey maybe this is the best way to break the ice.

Here are some of our favorites. But the full list created by ishanwelde can be accessed here.

Got to start with the boss…

Clean, concise and to the point…

Sounds a tragic love story but…

Mamadou Sakho, who’s birthday happens to be the day prior to Valentine’s Day…

These are fantastic. Personal favorite has got to be the first one, with Jurgen Klopp. Shamelessly punny, shamelessly funny.

Hopefully Liverpool’s play on Valentine’s Day will match the quality of these cards. The Reds go to Aston Villa who are fighting for their Premier League lives. If the nails aren’t in the coffin, the 20th placed club certainly are laying in the casket.

Without Christian Benteke, Aston Villa have looked hopeless. And without Aston Villa, Christian Benteke hasn’t looked much better. It’s unlikely that the former Villa striker will start on his return to the Midlands with the form he’s in and the return to fitness of Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi, but, maybe he’ll make a cameo. Or maybe a return to Villa Park will reinvigorate the £32.5million man and reboot his Anfield career before it’s too late.

Liverpool sit in 9th, 12 points adrift from fourth place.
