Is it Danny Ward time yet?

Well, considering he didn’t play Aston Villa who are rife with under-performing and uncaring players, it’s unlikely he’s selected against Augsburg.

As I’ve been well documented in saying recently, I’ve completely given up on Simon Mignolet. How many bouts with poor form has he had? Even last season when he was benched in favor of Brad Jones, (BRAD JONES!) I gave him more chances. Thought (hoped?) he’d figure it out. But he’s somehow regressed further this season to the point of no return.

If Ward isn’t getting a shot, if he’s not proving to be better than Mignolet in training, then that doesn’t bode well for a long term Liverpool career. Hopefully they’ll grab a replacement in the summer.
