Liverpool settle for a boring draw away from home in their Europa league match against Augsberg
Jurgen Klopp returned to his homeland for the first time since his move to Liverpool last night, as the reds took on Augsberg in the champions league knock-out stages. In a game that almost put me to sleep, nothing that exciting happened. Augsberg halted Liverpool’s attack, and had some of the better chances in a match that was surely harder than expected.
This loss means that Liverpool will need to win at home, just three days before their Capital One Cup final, in order to progress to the next round of the Europa league. Here’s how twitter reacted to this dull match, followed by Rush the Kop’s player ratings.
Liverpool supporters are so angry all the time! Constantly on edge, ready to break. I'm not usually one to say this, but just relax!

0 - Liverpool are the first team to keep a clean sheet against Augsburg in the Europa League this season. Drilled.

0-0 would be an awful result for Liverpool, need a solid win here. Second leg is only around 3 days before our Wembley final.

Liverpool players always looking to find Sturridge as soon as possible. Stark contrast to when Benteke plays.

Ausburg are playing "You'll Never Walk Alone" over their sound system. At this stage they'll thank Liverpool if we score against them.
