AM Adam Lallana: SELL

Lallana isn’t a bad player. He was too good for Southampton, but might be slightly overmatched being a key contributor at Liverpool. His biggest problem? Two of Liverpool’s top three players, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, each play the same position. And they’re both better than him at it and yield a higher output in the final third.

The Englishman hasn’t reached his goal nor assist tallies that he hit in his final season at Southampton, due to injuries and inconsistent form. It feels like Lallana still really hasn’t hit his stride at the club. Maybe that’s something he can do in the next few months, but with Klopp being on the record that the club are ‘thin’ on wingers, where Lallana has been shifted to allow Firmino or Coutinho play down the center, it may be in the best interest of Lallana and the club for the two to part.

As far as the money received may be, it’s realistic to see £15-20million raised from his sale.
