Mamadou Sakho – 6.5
Sakho read the play well and used his strength to push the Augsberg players off the ball if they broke through. He dominated in terms of headers, and really helped Liverpool stay tight at the back. Good tackling, good defensive headers, reasonable distribution combines to make an all-round respectable showing from Sakho.
