AML Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho seems to be fully back from injury ahead of the League Cup final, which is exactly what Liverpool need.

Liverpool’s no. 10 will be a hugely important cog against City, and in this combined side, he keeps Sterling out of the team, rightfully. Don’t even mention Jesus Navas. He never had a chance. I’d sooner throw Fernando, Fernandinho, Alberto Moreno or Emre Can in an unfamiliar role on the wing than Navas. The Spaniard does beat one player, though: putting Lucas out of position there. That’s about it. Congrats, Navas.

Coutinho’s ability to impact a game will go a long way to Klopp’s ability to lift the cup.
