LB Aleksandar Kolarov

Kolarov’s left peg is just irresistible. Simple as. Hey, maybe through osmosis Alberto Moreno might grab an ounce of skill off Kolarov’s final output! Moreno’s is utter dross at this stage. Thankfully, he’s got time to improve.

Having a weapon out of the back such as Kolarov in the final third is a luxury for City. If he starts, Liverpool will have to look to push him back all match long and make him defend as much as they attack.

He’s another reason that Liverpool can’t particularly sit deep and look to play on the counter, because Kolarov is just another player that can unlock the backline.
