Nathaniel Clyne – 8

I think Nathaniel Clyne dealt with Raheem Sterling perfectly, getting as physical and needed and stopping the sly winger from getting the better of him. Clyne was rough and even picked up a yellow for his strong tackles, but he performed perfectly as needed. He didn’t get caught anywhere near as much as Moreno, despite having an arguably trickier opponent to mark.

On the attack he helped out, but against stronger opposition Clyne stayed back more than usual – which is expected. He made Moreno look like a league 4 players, and gave his all as a Liverpool player.
