James Milner – 7

Milner looked one of the most threatening and likely to score, but messed up some great chances. He made some great runs, and used his vision to play some of Liverpool’s most promising passes. He had some really really poor set pieces, but made up for that with his outstanding work effort. He’s very quickly developed into a true red, and although I criticised him not leading the way with the penalties, Klopp has revealed he was to be number five on the list.
