Liverpool grind out a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace, earning them another three points

This game was far from easy, with the reds first going a goal down, only to then lose James Milner to a second yellow card. Fortunately, the squad pulled together and showed outstanding fight and determination to push back into the game while a man down.

Roberto Firmino got Liverpool’s equaliser, capitalising on a mistake made by the Palace keeper. Then, in added-time, the substitute Christian Benteke found the net from the spot – earning Liverpool the full three points. The result was great, the character shown was better, but the performance wasn’t an outstanding display overall. Here’s several tweets about the match, followed by Rush the Kop’s player ratings!
