Adam Lallana – 5

This is a very, very harsh 5. My reasoning behind this is an outstanding lack of consistency. Lallana started well, looking creative and hungry to continue his form early in the game, but sadly the English midfielder faded from the game quicker than Connor McGregor could tap last night.

After his outstanding performance against City, Liverpool fans were hoping for even half the level of performance that he produced that night, but Lallana once again disappointed – failing to maintain a quality level of impact. In the second half, you’d be forgiven for forgetting he was actually on the pitch.
