Liverpool are at their best when Mignolet isn’t called upon much, or at least as little as possible. If a side has enough shots on target or enough corners, they are certain to cash those into goals against Mignolet. It’s just science.

Mignolet has been decent in recent weeks, but also hasn’t been much called upon. There’s no coincidence there. With a lesser work rate, Mignolet is more efficient.

Let’s hope this is the case at Old Trafford.
