CB Mamadou Sakho

Sakho and Lovren did well dealing with United’s only real threat: a route one direct to Marouane Fellaini. Yes, that was a direct shot at United.

Oh neat transition here, I’d like to see Fellaini get some extra special tough treatment from the Reds. He’s notorious for a high elbow, some late studs and the good ol’ “hold me back” confrontation after a play. To top it all off, there’s his egregious elbow on Emre Can in the final second at Anfield, that somehow didn’t earn him a ban. Though I’m happy he wasn’t banned, his presence does Liverpool more good than it does United.
