James Milner – 6

Once again James Milner showed his outstanding adaptability, covering left-back for the injured Alberto Moreno. He was beaten early on by Marcus Rashford, who used the chance to challenge Mignolet. Throughout the game Milner was rather sloppy, but he dealt with his new position better than you would expect. He tackled well, got involved up-front, and was tireless as usual.
