Simon Mignolet – 6.5
It’s a tricky game to judge Simon Mignolet on. For the amount of times I found myself asking “what is he doing?” I want to rate him lower, but he actually made some crucial saves. For the numerous stupid mistakes that struck fear into our defence, he still pulled off some brilliant saves to stop us going behind in this game. That’s the truth about Mignolet, the guy is a shot-stopper, but he struggles with nearly everything else.
