CB- Mats Hummels
Hummels is a sergeant general in defense and a world class talent, he’d walk into the Liverpool team on his hands or hopping on one leg.
Liverpool’s attack will be best served on Thursday getting forward quick before Hummels can sort his side or down the wings where Philippe Coutinho and likely Adam Lallana may find joy running at fullbacks rather than heading through the Hummels-infested middle. Sturridge’s pace may give him a few problems, but it’s not as if Hummels has never played against a pacey forward before.
