Another player that Liverpool came close to signing but dragged their feet on before seeing join another club. Shocking!

Mkhitaryan has been potent next to Aubamayang and Reus as he’s the third option defenses are worrying about, the same way Raheem Sterling excelled around Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge in 2013-14. Obviously Mkhitaryan is more polished, older and a better player now than Sterling was in 2013-14 but the situation is comparable.

That’s the problem with Dortmund, man. They’re so good and have way too many top quality attackers to worry about.

We’re just getting to the front three of this combined XI and I’m already on edge for Thursday, already lamenting the elegy of Liverpool’s defense and Mignolet’s crucification.
