James Milner – 8.5

James Milner contributed outstandingly, and could be a major factor in making Everton crumble. His two assists in the first half were brilliant, and he continues to provide this impressive flow of chances. By many he’s underrated, but the things he provides as a squad player often go unrecognised. He’s been a reliable source of assists, he tracks and gets back well, and he pushes wide and encourages clever play. Brilliant game.
