Daniel Sturridge – 7.5

Started in outstanding fashion, scoring early to give Liverpool the lead. He tormented the Newcastle defence and made it his goal to cause as much trouble as he could. If anybody was going to score more, it was probably him. Looks to have found his goalscoring touch again, something which Liverpool now rely on without Divock Origi as an option.
