6. Suso///undisclosed///Cadiz

The fact that Suso goes down as Roy Hodgson’s third-least-worst (because we’re really trying to avoid the word “best” here) is a microcosm of Hodgson.

Suso joined from Cadiz tipped as a player for the future at Liverpool, a young Spanish player who was creative and would have an irresistible left foot. Pretty much the left footed version of what Philippe Coutinho is now, is what everyone was hoping for.

The player was a brilliant signing in FIFA manager mode as recent as last season, he’d grow into the player most agreed he would.

Unfortunately something funny happened and Suso never developed into anything at Liverpool

Suso ending up leaving Liverpool for AC Milan in search of more playing time, where he somehow found less playing time. Similar to Mario Balotelli when he went to AC Milan as Liverpool packaged him with a bow, pleading anyone to take him.

I don’t know how we got to Mario Balotelli, and I apologize.
