4. Brad Jones///£2.3m///Middlesboro

Brad Jones was just as bad when Liverpool signed him as he was when they let him go after 2014-15. What a waste of £2.3million.

The fact that there are THREE WORSE signings than Jones speaks volumes about how painfully bleak Hodgson’s time at Liverpool was.

Jones made just 27 amount of appearances, some of which coming last season when Simon Mignolet was benched. In Jones’ second start, he picked up an injury literally out of nowhere and was never to be heard from again. It was like his body wasn’t acclimated to standing for too long because it was used to the bench and spectating for 90 minutes.

That game was against Burnley, and I can’t talk about that game against Burnley without talking about what Mignolet did once he entered the game, when he waited and waited and waited and waited for a rolling ball until it went out of bounds for a corner kick before he kicked it because he was hoping it’d just kick itself forward so he wouldn’t have to.

JUST LOOK AT THAT!

This whole list is a lot of pain, so we must laugh when we have the chance. Like we are right now.
