2. Paul Konchesky///£3.5m///Fulham

Ugh. Paul Konchesky. Come on.

Konchesky is the face of the Hodgson days. Maybe Konchesky with an owl, or Konchesky next to Big Woy with an owl on Hodgson’s shoulder. Yeah, I like that better. It’s like a nightmare.

Hodgson put Konchesky in his suitcase when he left Fulham, much like how Brendan Rodgers walked with Joe Allen hand in hand when he came to Liverpool. Konchesky was atrocious and didn’t last much longer than Hodgson.

Last season when Konchesky was on the Leicester City squad, my initial reaction was to hope they got sent down just to get Konchesky ALL THE WAY away from Liverpool and my viewing pleasure.

Konchesky made 18 appearances in one of the most grim Liverpool teams of my lifetime. It was a bad time.
