Alberto Moreno – 6.5

Was a much more restricted performance from Alberto Moreno. He had to deal with some quick opponents, so was limited in his opportunities to get forward. When he did, he helped out and combined well, but as with Clyne any crosses lacked a real target. Broke through well for a late chance on goal, and many are saying he should have done better. I think with the speed he broke with and the pace he had making the run, a left-back would be world class if he could perfectly place that ball into the top corner. He could have done better, yes, but I think its harsh to blame one missed chance that he practically created by himself.
