James Milner – 7

An average performance from a usually average player. Milner brought his usual work ethic onto the field with him, getting plenty of the ball and defending well. He got back for some big tackles, and got forward to try and create things. He lacked a target for his brilliant crosses, and struggled to help as much as he could have. A good game, but his recent form has left us hoping for more.
