Daniel Sturridge – 5.5

With service at an absolute minimum, Sturridge failed to find many chances. The odd moment of magic popped up, with his attempted chip falling just off target, but the England striker couldn’t manage to grab a goal. Didn’t hold the ball up enough, supporting many people’s criticism, and he dropped too deep in frustration. Like Ibe, he seems sulky and frustrated, but our best striker needs to start. He’s class, but he’s being deprived of any real opportunity. I blame the players behind him today, and the poor performance all over.
