When Milner straddles the positional line of center mid and tucked in right wing, he’s at his best.

But against Villarreal, Liverpool need him at defensive mid, next to Emre Can to get the most attacking options in the team as Liverpool could need to score three goals if Villarreal gets one at Anfield. I’m not banking on a Simon Mignolet/Kolo Toure led clean sheet.
